Best Ethiopian Food

  This was the first Ethiopian restaurant I have ever been to. The food was amazingly fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the veggie platter of greens, cabbage, beets, and assorted… read more lentils. The meats were all delicious and tender as well. The service was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who already loves Ethiopian food or to someone who has never tried it. I will definitely be back!

  My husband and I found this place on our first trip to Atlanta … it was only a 4 day trip but we went here once for lunch and once… read more for dinner. It was delicious! We always try to find Ethiopian restaurants when we travel and I have to say this was one of THE best! We had the vegetarian combo both times with extra sides of the Yekik Watt and Shiro Watt. I can’t say how wonderful everything was. Looking forward to going back on my next trip to Atlanta!

This is the first time I ever had beets in an Ethiopian restaurant. A very nice and delicious surprise … I added some awaze to mine and they were outstanding!

It is all really good food and I got a pretty good portion size. The young lady, at the register, was really nice. She even offered to bring it out to my car when it was ready. The order was quick. Also, the restaurant is nice and clean. I will be returning.

  Damm that was some good food! The lamb and chicken tips were really good – the spicy option in my opinion was not that hot – just a little… read more kick with more flavor. Even the veggie sample platter tasted great (and I am not big on meatless food). Also, you have to try the Ethiopian tea. The service was great as well – very attentive and responsive to our request.

This is a small family run business that is a pleasant surprise given the location it’s in. Don’t let the random crack head roaming around the parking lot scare you (it’s next door to a liquor store) because there is a diverse mix of people who come here because the food is that good.

Get the platter and try everything the first time and you’ll discover the red lentils will become a favorite if you enjoy spicy foods.

  The food here is great and the staff is always extremely kind and hospitable. We usually order the lamb and veggie platters which are both delicious.
